Customer Service Coordinator - 3 Month FTC

The Role

We are looking for a Customer Service Co-ordinator to join our Supply Chain Team on a fixed term contract basis.

You will be joinin the supply Chain Team in our newly established factory in Nuneaton during our Monday to Friday Office hours.


Responsibilities include:


  • Queries include those regarding deliveries (ETA,damaged product, POD requests), pricing, invoices, backorders / product availability etc.
  • Daily and adhoc administration tasks including matching invoices to POD's and posting to customer
= Support other Customer Service team members as and when necessary.

  • Preparation and processing of paperwork for international shipments; including despatch notes, commercial invoices, customs and other shipping documentation required to facilitate timely and accurate despatch of customer and supplier shipments in line with the company processes and in accordance with current legislation.
  • Checking customs documentation such as import/export declarations, resolving queries and ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
  • Filing of all shipping documentation.
  • Assisting with compliance procedures.
  • Ensuring that all customers are kept informed and up to date with the progress of their order.

Will work closely with:


  • Liaising with freight forwarders and carriers to book shipments in line with internal procedures.
  • Analyzing and optimizing logístical procedures.
  • Monitoring shipments, timelines, and productivity.
  • Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
  • Communicate and inform the customer about the shipment progress.
  • Review freight costs and transportation rates to keep costs down where possible.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Department to ensure the timely delivery of the goods.
  • Collaborate with production lines regarding projects progress
  • Participate in daily meetings regarding projects progress.
  • Ensure KPI's are met.
  • Generating Purchase Orders on the internal system.
  • Create commercial invoices, COO, ATR
  • Knowledge on Incoterms.

Requirements:


  • A confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner
  • Efficient administration skills and good attention to detail
  • Ability to use own initiative with a can do attitude
  • Ability to work in a high pressured, fast paced environment
  • IT Literate including Excel and Word
  • Familiar with systems including EDI, Access and SAP, (preferable but not essential).
