Our client based in Hove is looking to recruit a HR Generalist and
they are on the lookout for a detailed orientated, proactive, 'people person' to join our small highly motivated internal HR team.
The role is hands-on, managing the full lengthof the employee lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding, training and development to HR projects, and employee exits.
Responsibilities
- Provide HR guidance and support to employees and managers, providing guidance on Employee Relations matters, People Management and helping the business achieve its commercial objectives.
- Be responsible for managing and maintaining all HR policies and key processes, providing support to the HR team to ensure all key employee facing processes run smoothly
- Manage key employee data and monitor this, accordingly, including probation management, sickness and turnover.
- Support HR initiatives as required, including learning initiatives, annual review processes and explaining core HR processes where required.
- Support Adhoc HR Projects as required.
- Support Discipline and Grievance procedures, as well as performance monitoring, absence management.
- Assistance in updating of any HR/guidance manuals and systems
- Recruiting help us find our next super star by running their recruitment processes and meeting new people
- Employee relations help others solve difficult problems by providing timely, practical, and professional advice
- Learning & development help our people grow by scheduling in their Academy sessions and ensuring their people can give and receive feedback on a quarterly basis to help improve their performance and grow with us
Requirements:
- Five years' experience within an HR team
- Detailed knowledge of HR generalist activities, including employee relations, HR operations, and Acas
- Recruitment and hiring experience beneficial but not essential
- CIPD qualified
- Strong attention to detail, process driven, with excellent communication skills
- Must have a high level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience
- CIPD highly desirable
