Job Title:
School Minibus Driver

Location:
Westhoughton, Bolton

Salary:
£4,850.50 per annum (across 12 months to ensure stable monthly payment)

Hours: 10 hours per week; 3:00pm - 5:00pm

Contract:
Term-Time Only (39 weeks per annum)

Who we are looking for:

Aspire Behaviour Management is currently on the lookout for School Minibus Driver, to support pupils with travel home from our Hub based in Westhoughton.

Our Children and Young People have a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH), and attend our setting to gain support and guidance through primary education.

Children attending our setting come from different locations across Bolton, and therefore at times need assistance getting home from our Hub via our Minibus Drop-off service.

Experience of driving a Minibus (16seater +)
A clean driving license (with Category B entitlement)
Experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
Punctuality
Skills to communicate with our children and young people.
Ability to work under pressure.

The Role:

Our aim is to provide Children and Young People attending our Educational Facilities, with a calm and nurturing environment to allow them to be supported to reach their full potential.

Therefore, day to day duties will involve:

Greeting the children in a calm and appropriate manner
Driving the minibus in a safe and courteous way, ensuring safety of the pupils and staff on board.
Completing daily checks to ensure the minibus is suitable to use.
Cleaning and maintaining the minibus.
Booking and arranging service/MOT's
Liaising with staff regarding the Escort Rota.
Reporting at the end of each journey.
