Production Planner - Full Time - Leeds, United Kingdom

Sulzer, a world-leading manufacturer of pumping, agitation, mixing, separation, and purification technologies, is seeking a Production Planner to join our vibrant team in Leeds.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

Develop production schedules and plans to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and minimising costs.
Coordinate with various departments including production, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
Utilize SAP to manage production orders, material requirements, and capacity planning.
Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure product specifications and standards are met.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Previous experience in production planning within an engineering or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Proficiency in using MRP/ERP systems is essential.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
Detailoriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
