We have a brilliant Senior Case Worker opportunity to join our Distress Brief Intervention (DBI) team in Chester-le-Street


The aim of the DBI programme is to provide a framework for improved inter-agency co-ordination, collaboration and co-operation across a wide range of care settings, interventions and community supports, towards the shared goal of providing a compassionate and effective response to people in distress.


The service operates across the week, Monday to Sunday, including evenings and weekends to provide a compassionate and listening ear at the times most needed by people in the locality.


About you
We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience of supporting the management and coaching of a team.
  • Awareness of mental health issues & users' needs.
  • Worked with people who have enduring & complex mental health issues in a communitybased setting.
  • Ability to collate and analyse data and present material clearly and concisely.
  • Able and willing to regularly work without direct supervision, using initiative, own judgement and make decisions.
  • Willing to develop knowledge/skills. Able to identify personal strengths and recognise opportunities for personal development.
