Description
You will have a variety of responsibilities which will include:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • working with the finance manager to ensure bank reconciliations are accurate, up to date and coded correctly with good descriptions
  • Credit control and payment allocation in a business to business environment this will involve building strong relationships with customers and ensuring that the sales invoices meet all their requirements to ensure prompt payment is made
  • Work with the FD and Finance Manager to provide accurate and up to date cash flow forecasting information
  • Sales ledger control attention to detail in ensuring cash receipts are correctly matched and any discrepancies are followed up
  • Working within the finance team and assisting colleagues when required
  • Credit Control
  • Experience of SIMPRO (job control system) and/or Quickbooks would be an advantage
This is a full time position, based in Uddingston with on-site car parking. The hours are Monday - Friday 8 am pm with 1/2 hr for lunch. Hybrid working will be available - 2 d days working from home and 3 days in the office.
