    New exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager or Manager to become part of the successful Corporate Tax team at this innovative CA firm.

    Due to the growth and evolution of their client portfolio and digital services, they are now in search of a new Assistant Manager to join their team.

    The firm offers great flexibility in terms of working location, as long as you can easily commute to their office in either Edinburgh or Glasgow for occasional client meetings, training, and team gatherings.

    Responsibilities include overseeing a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients across various sectors, managing deadlines and budgets, and addressing ad hoc queries.

    Conducting reviews of tax compliance and accounting work done by team members, providing mentorship and training to support their growth.

    Directly engaging in intriguing advisory projects such as transactions, restructuring, capital allowances, demergers, and international tax issues.

    • Identify advisory opportunities within your portfolio and foster collaboration with colleagues from different parts of the organization for broader project initiatives.

    Preferably, you should be ATT/CTA/CA (or equivalent) qualified with proven experience in UK corporate tax or UK mixed tax (a must).

    In addition to relevant tax expertise, you should possess strong research capabilities and a desire to expand your exposure to tax advisory services.

    Great flexibility offered to accommodate hybrid, office, or remote working preferences.
