Property Surveyor - £30,000 DOE - Hull
My client is looking for a Property Surveyor to join a team with the primary responsibility of ensuring we continue to deliver quality homes and services to our residents.
It is envisaged, that this role will, following a period of supervision, development and delivery offer the opportunity for you to work from another location including home if suitable for up to 2 days a week.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the repairs and maintenance programme for the association.
- Contributing to the delivery of the cyclical works programmes for the association.
- Carry out pre and post inspections of routine repairs, maintenance, cyclical works, and potential insurance works as required.
- Carrying out stock condition surveys.
- Undertaking void property inspections. Responsible for updating stock condition information, preparing schedules of work / specifications, and ensuring works are undertaken within predetermined limits.
- Experience of project management including maintaining a budget.
- A strong desire to deliver and maintain excellent customer service.
- Excellent working knowledge and experience of both Microsoft packages and a CRM system.
- A confident decision maker with demonstrable commercial awareness and the ability to build good working relationships with residents, contractors, and staff.
- Own vehicle and a clean driving license are essential for this role.
- Experience of working with Microsoft Teams is an advantage but not essential
- The ability to work at home
Qualifications:
- Building Studies with over 3 years' relevant experience.
- Health & Safety related qualification (IOSH) is desirable but not essential
