    National Collections Centre Coordinator
    Do you want to support collections activity and take ownership of small projects at the National Collections Centre?

    The National Collections Centre (NCC) is home to one of the world's preeminent collections of science, technology, transport, medicine and media.

    Following a major strategic initiative to process, digitise, relocate, and rehouse more than 300,000 objects from the Science Museum's store in West London to the NCC, we are entering an exciting new phase of access and engagement.

    We are currently recruiting for a National Collections Centre Coordinator to join on a permanent contract, working full-time, 35 hours per week.

    This role is based at the National Collections Centre in Wroughton, Swindon with hybrid working included.
    As National Collections Centre Coordinator you will support the Collection Services activity on the site.

    You will be supporting the Head of Collections Management and Collections Services Programme Manager to deliver core collections activity across the site, as well as the delivery of collections projects.

    You will also be taking ownership of smaller sub-projects as they arise, leading them from start to finish.

    Crucially, you will be organised with ability to work independently without direct supervision, with good time management, administration, budgeting, and planning skills.

    You will have good IT literacy across MS Office and have experience of databases and collating and evaluating data to produce reports.
