The Engineering Council is the UK regulatory body for the engineering profession. We hold the national registers of over 229,000 Engineering Technicians (EngTech), Incorporated Engineers (IEng), Chartered Engineers (CEng) and Information and Communications Technology Technicians (ICT_
Tech_
).


In addition, the Engineering Council sets and maintains the internationally recognised standards of professional competence and ethics that govern the award and retention of these titles.

This ensures that employers, government, and wider society - both in the UK and overseas - can have confidence in the knowledge, experience and commitment of professionally registered engineers and technicians.


We are currently seeking an experienced Registration & International Applications Executive to assist with the day-to-day operation of the Register and operation of the new registrant and international registration processes.


Key Tasks:


Responsible for managing new registrant processes including:

  • The processing of new registration forms.
  • Monthly input/output checks.
  • The generation of bimonthly invoice data.
Responsible for processing change of information files.

Responsible for processing reconciliation submissions.


Responsible for International registrations including:

  • The maintenance of international registration records.
Main point of contact for PEI staff in relation to registration processes and electronic submissions.

Responsible for the organisation and facilitation of PEI visits as required.

Responsible for the organisation and facilitation of PEI visits.

Contribute to the identification of process improvement opportunities.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of registration and PEI guidance.

Contribute to the development of departmental objectives and performance measures (KPIs).

Contributeto the writing and testing of registration job requests.

Act as a senior user for registration projects.

Support the training and mentoring of new registration staff.

Co-responsibility for PEI training/workshops.

Co-responsibilityfor the registration area of the Partner Portal and select areas of EngC's website using Umbraco.

Responsible for providing cover for Registration and Registrant Services Executive when required.

Ability to communicate at all levels (written and oral)

Able to work flexibility and effectively with others, to develop, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (E)

Understanding and appreciation of good customer relations and relationship management. (E)

Qualifications
Good general secondary education to GCSE standard.
