We are looking for an assessor who has experience in the following Apprenticeship Standards:

  • Lean Manufacturing Operative L
  • Team Leader or Supervisor L
  • Supply Chain Warehouse Operative L
  • Functional Skills in English and Maths

General Duties

  • Work with a caseload of 40 learners, visiting learners monthly within their workplace to deliver apprenticeship training.
  • Sign learners up onto their apprenticeship programme, including completing all signup paperwork with learner and employer.
  • Plan for teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Use OneFile to encourage the learners to build a portfolio of evidence to achieve their supporting diploma and contribute towards their End Point Assessment.
  • With the assistance of BKSB, support and provide tutoring to learners working towards their Functional Skills in English and Maths (Level 1 and Level 2).
  • Carry out progress reviews with the learner and employer every 10 weeks.
  • Liaise with employers on a regular basis and keep a record of these meetings.
  • Monitor and report on learner progress.
  • Attend and contribute to standardisation meetings.
  • Promote Safeguarding, British Values, Equality and Diversity and Prevent
  • Maintain an annual record of CPD.
  • Additional duties appropriate to the post as directed by AGL Training Ltd Directors.

Skills, Attributes and Qualifications

  • Hold TAQA/A1/D32/33 or equivalent.
  • Level 2 qualification (GCSE A
  • C, or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Relevant occupational experience.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners.
  • Full current driving licence.
  • Clear DBS.

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 8.15am - 4.45pm, Friday: 8.15am pm

Total Weekly Hours: 36.5
