AGL Training Ltd are privileged to be supporting Community Benefit Society 'Our Green Shop' to recruit a Customer Assistant Apprentice.

The position is for an
Apprenticeship, the position is
initially 12-15 months with the possibility of a full-time role at the end of the programme.

During this time, you will work towards the following qualifications:

Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard
Highfield Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service Skills (RQF)
Highfield Level 1/2 Functional Skills in English and Maths

General Duties
You will receive training to enable you to carry out the following duties:

Greet customers coming into the shop
Talk to customers about the produce and make recommendations
Deal with customers problems and complaints
Operate till and take payments via card and cash
Assist with monitoring stock levels and replenishment
Maintain the cleanliness / tidiness of the shop
Assist with promotional activities, such as digital marketing and community notice boards
Follow necessary health and safety procedures and regulations

Skills and Requirements

GCSE Grade 3 or above in English and Maths (Grade D)
Ambitious and willing to learn
Confident, polite and friendly
Passionate about sustainability and the environment
Punctual and reliable
Able to work as part of a team

Working Hours

Working days:
Tuesday - Saturday (5days)

Total hours paid: 37 hours weekly

Hourly Rate:
£6.40
