**Stock/Audit Manager
Edinburgh/Onsite
Inside IR35

6 months initial contract**An exciting new opportunity has become available for a stock manager to join our client's team in Edinburgh.

This post is responsible for the stores and warehouse team which undertakes, receiving, delivery, storage and tracking of computer equipment forthe use of the client.


As a stock manager you will be responsible for the stock room and the assets and consumables within it, ensuring that every order is scanned, tagged and stored within the correct stock location.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the stock has a smoothjourney through the stockroom and tracked on the ATOM.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the warehouse stock is managed efficiently and effectively on a day-to-day basis.

You will also become confident in all areas of the stockroom including scanning, tagging and sorting stock, picking orders and loadingorders for dispatch.

This role would suit a highly focused and dedicated individual with previous stock control experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Main responsibilities of the role:


  • You will be responsible for the management of the Stockroom based on client's site in Edinburgh
  • You will be responsible for stock control, counting goods and communicating with all relevant departments regarding stocking levels
  • Picking and packing goods for homeworking
  • Loading and unloading goods on to pallets and cages
  • Asset tagging
  • Asset tracking
