Overview:

Buckingham Primary School is looking for Teaching Assistants to join our team. The roles are permanent full time and part time roles. The desired start date would be 1st September 2023 however, this is negotiable to allow for notice periods.


Salary:
£20,297-£21,223 per annum, pro rata (depending on experience).

About the role:


The roles will involve:

  • Giving support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part
in learning and experience a sense of achievement

  • Working under the direction of the class teacher and line manager
  • Assisting in the supervision of children outside the classroom including in playgrounds, dining
areas or on visits outside the school premises


About you:


  • Adopt a consistent positive approach towards all children, in keeping with our school values
  • Be organised and adaptable
  • Possess good communication skills and have a high standard of English and Maths
  • Be able to work on their own initiative and under the direction of the class teacher
  • Stay calm in difficult situations
