An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a vibrant business in the Nelson area on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
As the Credit Controller, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Finance, Operations and Sales Teams on a day to day basis, providing a critical function If you have experience working within a manufacturing/FMCG/Retail or within a similar Credit Controller role which we're looking for, this exciting role could be the next step in your career and we'd love to hear from you About the role
Based in Nelson, you will be responsible for: Managing a aged debt ledger for wide range of B2B customers
Chasing customers for payment via various communication methods, primarily phone and email.
Taking, allocating and reconciling payments
Performing credit checks for customer accounts
Maintain and develop excellent relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. About you

The ideal candidate for this position must have: At least two years' experience within a credit control role, or have relevant experience.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Excellent attention to detail when dealing with payments and allocating cash.
Proactive self-starter who is motivated to get the job done.

What's on offer Salary:
£27,000 - £30,000
Benefits: 33 days holiday inc of bank holidays, discretionary annual company bonus, team building days, Christmas closure
Contract type:12 month contract with potential for a permanent role
Hours: 39 hours per week with an early finish on a Friday
