Established over 40 years ago, we now employ more than 850 staff across the UK and we work with the country's major house builders. Last year we acquired a solar PV business and solar installations are now a rapidly growing part of our business.

The Role

Responsibilities

  • Installation of Solar PV on new build, domestic & commercial properties.
  • Setting out and stringing the panels as per the design provided.
  • Running and connecting the DC cables.
  • Gathering photo evidence.
  • Completing relevant forms through our appbased system.

Requirements:
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Previous experience of working in construction industry or similar outdoor industries.
  • Practical experience as a roofing labourer or Solar PV installations an advantage
  • IPAF and telehandler licence a distinct advantage.
  • Methodical, accurate and process focused approach to tasks.
  • Flexibility to work throughout the UK, including evenings and weekends.
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, follow technical drawings measure distances, and perform calculations using phone or calculator
You will be issued with a company vehicle, fuel card for each team and uniform.

You will receive full training with the opportunity for progression to team leader on demonstration of ability with higher payment rates.

The role is paid weekly.
