    JOB TITLE:

    HGV Driver (Class 2)

    SITE LOCATION:

    Telford

    Description: As an HGV Driver (Class 2) at EPW2, you'll be responsible for delivering and collecting goods across the UK & Ireland while complying with the group's Operators Licence restrictions. Your main goal is to ensure timely delivery of goods as per the Transport department's schedule.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Ensure compliance with the operator's license.
    • Adhere to drivers' hours regulations.
    • Follow Working Time Directive (WTD) rules.
    • Keep Driver CPC qualifications up to date.
    • Maintain valid driving licence entitlements.
    • Adhere to highways laws.
    • Comply with HSE standards.
    • Ensure safe carriage of loads.
    • Maintain equipment in good working order.
    • Follow site rules.
    • Set a professional example.
    • Communicate effectively.
    • Follow operational procedures.
    • Address process and product concerns.
    • Safeguard company-issued property.
    • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workplace.
    • Wear appropriate uniform and PPE.
    • Transfer knowledge among the team.
    • Promote continuous improvement.
    • Undertake additional duties as directed.

    Key Experiences and Skills Required:

    • Strong transport and compliance knowledge.
    • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
    • Effective communication abilities.
    • HGV licence.
