Swift Placements have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our client as a
Legal Administration Assistant in either their
Liverpool or Wallasey office This is a great opportunity to join a wonderful company and start to build a career.
Job role:
- Provide general support to fee earners within the team who deal with all aspects of litigated and nonlitigated personal injury claims.
- Provide assistance within the companies Legal Customer Service Team.
Key Duties:
- Answer and make telephone calls
- Provide general admin and clerical support within the team
- Generate and compose standard system driven letters
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients and external parties relating to all claims
- Adhere to firm confidentiality in relation to all correspondence, communications and information received
- Proactively manage diaries and prioritisation of workload
- Liaise and build lasting relationships where appropriate
- Book client and internal meetings
- Prepare correspondence and documents from digital dictation
- Mange the case management system
- Open and close files
- Set up new clients on the finance system
- File, archive, photocopy, scan documents as and when required
- Ensure that client contact information is kept up to date
- Assist with the booking of travel arrangements
- Liaise with Counsel and other legal representatives
- Proactively assist with adhoc business development and communications activities e.g. client contact reports, delegate packs etc.
- Maintain a level of individual knowledge required for the role
- Assist with incoming billing, cash collection and accounts queries
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent client/customer service approach
- Proficient using Microsoft office
- Good administrative, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work using own initiative
