BASIC FUNCTIONS

The Production Specialist requires knowledge of data entry within different systems and software, requires basic XML programming knowledge to be able to facilitate the role.

They work under instruction, guidance and direction from senior level roles to direct editing schedules.

They work on projects of limited complexity and support digital publications by in-house and/or external resources in a format that is ready for production/duplication.

They ensure that the final products meet the standards and approval of relevant departments. They are responsible for output (documents, analysis, product) in specific work area to appropriate time and quality targets. The production specialist plans and prioritizes their own work and meets agreed timescales.

Overseeing various parts of the production process

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Degree in relating field a plus

Experience:

Knowledge of proper grammar and usage
3 years of experience working with XML programming
Ability to manage time and adhere to strict deadlines

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

Professional attitude including flexibility and responsiveness to change
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skill; attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent computer skills
