- :We have a number of opportunities for Quality and Product Assurance professionals at various levels, ranging from a few years' experience to a team leader and managerial positions. This is a great opportunity to join knowledgeable, supportive and well-established teams, with flexible and hybrid work pattern, based in Hertfordshire, Stevenage area.


About the role

Quality and Product Assurance Engineers and Managers will engage with multi-national projects in all phases of the product lifecycle, ensuring all core Product Assurance activities are met.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering the expectations of a global client base by preventing and minimising product non-conformance, supporting smooth equipment delivery and assuring reliable products.

There's also potential to work on projects involving the transfer of technology.


About You

  • A degree or HNC in Engineering or Quality Assurance, or equivalent.
  • Experience gained within defence/ automotive or similar sector.
  • Practitioner of current QA problem solving and improvement methods (6 Sigma, 8D, RCA, DMAIC, etc.)
  • Experience of a very fastpaced environment where adaptability and prioritisation are paramount.
  • The ability to influence change in a matrix organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to run reports in Excel, use SAP QM system, and document management tools.
  • Initiative to deliver continuous improvement.

Overview

  • Quality Engineer/ Product Assurance Engineer/ Quality Manager
  • Location: Hertfordshire, Stevenage area (hybrid and flexible)
  • Salary flexible, circa £50,000, depending on experience plus bonus and great benefits package

Key Skills
Product assurance, quality management, QMS, continuous improvement, non-conformances, Six Sigma, SAP QM, 8D/ RCA/ DMAIC.
