Description
Well Ops UK Ltd currently has an opportunity for a focussed and committed Database Administrator to join our team. This is a permanent position, based at our Aberdeen office.


The Database Administrator is responsible for the administration and support of the planned maintenance system (NS-Enterprise) working with the Marine Superintendents, Chief Engineers, Subsea Superintendents and Intervention Service Coordinators for all Well Ops UK operated assets, primarily Seawell, Well Enhancer, Q7000, IRS3, IRS6, SIL1A & B, SIL2 and associated Coiled Tubing and WoS SSIG systems.


Responsibilities include:


  • Providing support and administration of the planned maintenance system (NS-Enterprise).
  • Managing the generation and distribution of PMS reports, ensuring compliance with Company requirements.
  • Performing data entry as needed to maintain the accuracy of the system.
  • Monitoring and escalating critical items/issues.
  • Assisting with close out of jobs and work orders.
  • Assisting in evaluating and implementing new systems and structure to continually improve Company processes.
  • Conducting training sessions as needed on Company systems.
  • Maintaining system and data security per Company Policies and industry regulations.
  • Supporting written scheme activities.
  • Providing assistance during maintenance periods, ensuring that all maintenance activities are being performed and recorded as per requirements.

Experience/Skills required:


  • 3 years working a planned maintenance system database, preferably NS-Enterprise.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Competent in the use of various software packages.
