ASC Teaching Assistants Required for a Primary School in Blackpool (FY4)


We are working closely with a client school in Blackpool (FY4) who are looking for 2 Teaching Assistants to join their staffing team on a full-time basis starting in September 2023.

The posts will be full time and could become permanent for the right applicants.

Both roles will be based in the schools newly refurbished ASC unit. The successful applicants will work closely with children of varying ages who have ASC and other special educational needs.

The Head Teacher and Senior Leaders of the school are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants who are able to form effective relationships with the children to encourage learning and to ensure they have the best possible educational experience.

To be considered, you will have prior experience working with ASC or with children with special educational needs.

Th ideal applicants will have experience with challenging behaviour and will be able to de-escalate and manage behaviour challenges that may arise.


The successful Teaching Assistants will become part of a close knit school staffing team and will work along side experienced practitioners who are really passionate about caring for the children in their school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
