This is an exciting opportunity for an Internal Audit Director to join our Internal Audit team based in London and gain exposure to Macquarie's businesses.

This role will primarily support audits of the Financial Management Group and the Risk ManagementGroup.

As an Internal Audit Director, you will be responsible for the oversight and delivery of the audit plan, manage key stakeholder relationships as well as driving initiatives across the department.

Working closely with the broader Risk Management team and executivesfrom across the Macquarie Group, you will lead or assist with assessments on the quality and effectiveness of internal controls and contribute to the continual improvement of the Group's risk management framework.

You will also develop and coach the InternalAudit team in the skills required to deliver audit functions to a high standard.

Key to your success will be prior experience as a leader and audit professional with strong knowledge of Internal Audit, with relevant experience in a banking and finance environment preferred.

Excellent communication skills, data driven auditing experienceand the ability to liaise with and influence stakeholders at all levels is essential.

The role will include coverage of Financial Management Group and the Risk Management Group which are central service groups providing a range of functions to support Macquarie's Operating Groups in order to meet their regulatory, compliance, financial reporting,legal and risk management requirements.

You will have experience in financial and non-financial risk management covering some or all of the following categories: Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Capital and Liquidity, Operational Risk, Compliance/Regulatory,Financial Crime, Market and Credit Risk.

You will help define the audit universe, engage in continuous business monitoring activities and help perform risk assessments to identify emerging risk themes and trends.

You will also lead relevant team members in the audits in this area and proactively monitorkey strategic initiatives and regulatory requirements impacting this area.

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills are critical as you will establish an ongoing partnership with the business and technology audit teams and senior management to provide valuableinsights and drive positive change in this area.

Whilst the role is based in London, you would be joining an Internal Audit team that is represented in Sydney, New York, Singapore, Hong Kong and India.

Travel may be required as our business units are also represented across the globe.

The Risk Management Group (RMG) is an independent, centralised unit responsible for ensuring all risk across Macquarie are appropriately assessed and managed.

Its divisions include Behavioural Risk, Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit,Market Risk, Operational Risk, Regulatory Affairs and Aggregate Risk, and RMG Enterprise Support.
