The role:
With roots stretching back more than 170 years, M&G plc serves more than 800 institutional clients such as pension funds and insurance companies.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Customer Service Consultant to join an exciting, busy and dynamic area and help us deliver an industry-leading level of customer service.
As part of the Operational team, you will be at the heart of our businessand help to drive the overall success of the company.
We have modern office facilities in three main locations - Stirling, Edinburgh and Bath. We are operating a hybrid approach to home/office working.We'll make sure you have all the equipment you need to carry out your role both in the office and outside it.
T here is a lot to learn, but we offer great training and coaching to make sure that you're well prepared to support the needs of our customers and financial advisers.
Along with this there will be opportunities to learn other skills to help further your career.Our full-time working hours are 35hrs per week however, we do offer part time and flexible working patterns on a pro rata basis .
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
We think this is the perfect first step to a career in Financial Services.
However, any of the following will be an advantage:
- Financial Services experience (not essential), in WRAP or asset/wealth management sector
- Wellorganised
- Excellent communication skills and a great phone manner with the ability to build rapport and show empathy
- Proactive in your approach to your work and change within the workplace
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word and Excel
