CDL are currently looking for a Transport Planner to join our client's Container haulage team in Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex
Role Responsibility
Reporting directly to the Transport Manager you will be responsible for:

The timely and efficient planning of vehicles onto the appropriate computer systems, to meet the needs and demands of the customers, in line with all restrictions.

Monitoring the progress of all planning working closely with customer service coordinators to ensure customers are kept informed at all times
Carry out daily administrative tasks in line with the transport planning role
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience within a similar role

You will also:
Have excellent communication and organizational skills
Be motivated
Be flexible
IT Literate - (Microsoft Office, Excel particularly)
