Supporting the Community & Events Fundraising Manager, you will liaise with the range of individuals, schools, groups, clubs, and service organisations that choose to raise funds for Yorkshire Cancer Research.

  • Represent Yorkshire Cancer Research at relevant community events including delivering brief presentations about the work of the charity as required.
  • Working to agreed targets, develop and implement plans that will grow supporter numbers and maximise fundraised income from individual community fundraisers and a broad base of groups and organisations.
  • Work with the Engagement Manager and Corporate Partnerships Manager to ensure groups, organisations, and companies are involved with and support charityled community fundraising initiatives.
  • Support groups and community fundraisers organising events and activities, ensuring appropriate risk assessments have been carried out where appropriate.
  • Ensure all supporter records are updated on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform and that the CRM resource is utilised to support the delivery of community and event fundraising plans.
  • Work with the PR Team to identify individuals, groups, and organisations to feature as case studies in charity publications.

About You
