Description

Ensuring timely and accurate production of the statutory accounts.
Project management and oversight of the UK group audit, coordinating deliverables and managing deadlines alongside the audit team.
Calculate adjustments required to convert accounts to UK GAAP.
Assist the auditors with queries and liaise with the appropriate business contacts to ensure that necessary answers are provided.
Prepare tax calculations.

Skills

Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
Financial reporting experience within a financial services organisation, ideally banking.
Handson experience in producing statutory accounts within a financial services environment.
Experience in audit either as an auditor or having owned the audit process for a large organisation.
Strong IT skills, especially in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc).
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
Team player.
Excellent communication skills.
Likes to challenge how/why things are done.
