- HCPC Registration (Mandatory)
- D.C.R. or BSC in Diagnostic Radiography/Imaging Services
- Minimum 8 years of post-graduate practical experience, with at least 3 years at Band 7 level or leading a specialist modality such as CT/Plain Film/MR
- Recent CPD Knowledge
- Understanding of role and responsibilities
- Familiarity with patient workflow
- Knowledge of HIS, RIS, CR & PACS systems
- Proficiency in IT packages and high computer literacy
- Extensive experience with imaging equipment
- Understanding of HR matters

Description
This is a great opportunity to consider joining a leading health system and teaching Board in Scotland, NHS Glasgow Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC). With an annual budget of approximately £3.9 billion (2022/23) and a workforce of about 40,000 employees, we offer a wide range of Acute, Mental Health, Community and Primary Care services to a diverse population of 1.2 million people across six local authority areas. In addition to regional services, we also provide national services in various clinical specialties.
The role involves managing and delivering an efficient radiology service for the Clyde sector, ensuring high-quality images in a safe environment for both staff and patients. Working closely with the general management team, you will contribute to meeting National and local targets, including waiting time guarantees and organizational policies.
The shift pattern for this role is from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
