Description

Reed Engineering are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Technician for a world class production facility at Milton Park where anodes for lithium fuel cells are produced for battery production.

This a permanent job without unsociable hours (thoughsome flexibility to work - fully paid - overtime on evenings and weekend from time to time would be desirable).


  • Responsible for carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance to ensure plant availability is maximised and downtime is kept to a minimum.
  • Typical duties include: fault finding, repairs, planned and unplanned maintenance activities on all EC&I assets including pressure, temperature and flow sensors, control systems (PLCs) and electrical equipment in general.
  • Respond to breakdowns and work with operations to ensure that maintenance and corrective works are completed safely and in a timely manner.
  • Working alongside other members of the operations team in assisting/suggesting equipment upgrades
  • Undertake electrical installation activities in accordance with the design provided and IET Wiring Regulations.
  • Read technical drawings
