We are looking for a part time Student Living & Guest Experience Receptions Supervisor to join our team
This role is eligible for the Campus Services New Starter and Refer a Friend bonuses.
About the role:
The Student Living & Guest Experience team are responsible for creating memorable experiences across multiple reception hubs for students, staff, visitors, and commercial guests.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and training a team of permanent and casual staff
- Liaising with managers to ensure receptions are effectively resourced and providing a consistent service
- Maintaining strong working relationships with other University departments and key stakeholders
With over 4,000 bedrooms on campus and in the city, we operate multiple reception hubs for students, staff, visitors, and commercial guests.
This is a permanent position working 14.6 hours over a 2 day working week (Tuesday and Wednesday only) as part of a job share, from 9am to 5.20pm.
About you:
- Be able to work in a fastpaced environment with conflicting priorities
- Have previous experience in a frontline customerfocused role
- Have the ability and a willingness to take on responsibility
- Be experienced in supervising staff
- Have a friendly and welcoming manner
- Be confident and tactful in dealing with customers from diverse backgrounds
