Description

Duties:


  • Responsible for full range of cash management and accountability duties that include but are not limited to: issue, receipt, and control of cash, fee computation, and preparation of daily deposits and daily cash reports for NAF AO.
  • Receives logs, and routes incoming mail, maintaining necessary suspense control.
  • Compiles and maintains files. Files and processes various documents relating to substantive program of the organization.
  • Types correspondence, reports and other documents using a variety of office automation software in support of the organization. Answers inquiries regarding various program offered.
  • Review the activity and events that are to take place and schedules staff accordingly to ensure they are carried out as planned by management.
  • Performs a variety of general office duties such as receiving and directing calls and visitors.
  • Creates and maintains official files and other reference materials.
  • Maintains payroll records in computerized TMX/SETs time clock.
  • Inputs all receiving invoices into Food Track Inventory Control Program on a computer terminal. Ensures all invoices are reconciled with NAF Accounting Office and all changes for products are in compliance with appropriate contract terms.
  • Assists kitchen staff with end of the month inventories.
  • May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
  • This position is only open to applicants with PCS orders to a local USAF base or current UK work visa.
  • This position requires the incumbent to complete a preemployment physical with favorable results.

    Qualifying Experience:
  • Must have experience with cash handling, clerical or office work of any kind which demonstrates ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position.
  • Experience that provide demonstrated knowledge of program operation as required.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Must possess good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of fire, safety and health regulations.
  • Knowledge of office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel).

Education:

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
