Salary: up to £65,000 depending on experience
A highly successful SJP Partner Practice are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support their Advisors and Clients with holistic, goal based financial planning.
As a key member of the team, you will be providing a high level of accuracy, experience and detail to the advice suitability process by undertaking effective product research, technical analysis, and drafting letters of recommendations.
Paraplanner:
Core responsibilities
- Working closely with the Advisors to achieve Client objectives, identifying areas for effective Financial Planning, and sourcing solutions suitable to meet the Client's needs and expectations
- Consider current and future allocation of assets for an appropriate investment strategy with regards to the Client's risk profile
- Compiling, clear and comprehensive reports, with recommendations that are within compliance standards
- Preparing for, and assisting with Client review meetings; you will be the goto individual for advice on technical queries and your duties will focus on supporting the full Client journey
- Obtaining information, quotes, illustrations and product details in order to provide meaningful comparisons for analysis
- Liaison with product providers and other third parties to acquire additional information that may be required to assess the Client's needs and support effective recommendations
- Ensure appropriate data is accurately recorded on within the CRM system(s) and updated in line within company processes
- Professionally deal with queries from Clients and other parties through clear verbal / written communication
- Assisting in the preparation of tax calculations where necessary from CGT calculations to top slicing calculations as and when required
Paraplanner:
Key attributes:
- Level 4 Qualified
- Diploma in Financial Planning / Regulated Financial Planning
- Level 6 Chartered Status (desirable but not essential)
- Commitment to continuous personal development, keeping knowledge up to date
- Detailed knowledge of investment planning process
- Experience with Financial Planning principles
- Ability to multitask and to prioritise your workload
- Experience with FE Analytics and Voyant (desirable)
- Genuine desire to provide a high standard of advice and service to Clients
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Have a personable approach
- Experienced with Salesforce (desirable but not essential)
