Becoming a Finance Business Partner with Smart DCC:

Fantastic opportunity to secure an initial 6 months day rate contract based from London on a hybrid working model, 2 days a week in the office, 3 days working remotely.

The Finance Business Partner role will be partnering senior leaders in the business aswell as members of the executive team ensuring they are receiving financial support in all their business decisions and future financial outlook.

This is a forward thinking, fast paced business area operating within a flexible working environment.

What you'll be doing:

Finance Business Partner to Functional Heads and/or Programme Directors
Financial assessment of business activities and projects specific to programmes/functions
Support and input towards the publication of Charging Statements, Indicative Charging Statements and indicative budgets.
Work with senior management team in preparation and review of business cases, providing detailed feedback on submission, continuously work towards improving the process
Provide appropriate level of challenge to senior leaders on cost proposals and budgeting and quarterly forecasting of costs and timing of cash outflows
Manage and report on key risks, issues and opportunities affecting projects and functions that the role supports
therefore Programme / Project accounting and business case review are very important in

What we're looking for:

Extensive experience in a Finance Business Partnering (FBP) role providing Cost Decision Support
Extensive experience supporting large scale Technology / Infrastructure and / or Telecommunications programmes
Must have excellent Project & Program Accounting experience including strong business case review experience
Excellent stakeholder management experience including supporting, engaging and influencing at executive level
Track record of implementing change or transformation to improve financial processes
Experience in taking ownership of financial issues under their remit
CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
