Description

The role of the Ancillaries Executive is to maintain our ancillary system, ensuring that costs and prices are up to date.

This will involve translating supplier contracts into the system and creating pricing strategies to optimise sales.

The Ancillaries Executive will be working in a team with an existing Ancillaries Executive and side by side with our Ancillaries Manager in analysing pick-ups and margins and using pricing, offers and bundles to drive sales as well as protect margin.

You will also be responsible for managing the ancillaries queries and ensuring that stakeholders around the business receive the support they require when selling ancillaries.


ABOUT THE JOB

  • Input ancillaries into the ancillaries system, ensuring that all products are available to customers and prices and costs are loaded accurately.
  • To carry out detailed checks on all areas of inventory and content to identify and rectify any errors/problems that would affect the saleability of the programme.
  • To assist in maintaining the ancillaries helpdesk (inbox) by investigating and resolving all queries raised by internal customers as well as supporting Trading, Commercial, Product, Purchasing and Sales teams on a daily basis.
  • To thoroughly test the system prior to new inventory being released so as to preempt system queries from internal and external customers and maximise saleability to hit company sales and profit targets.
  • To support Commercial Managers/Purchasing/Overseas Operations with any program changes that may be needed due to market demand and fluctuations.
  • Set up pricing and offer campaigns, designed to either drive ancillary pickup or support Trading on yield performance.
  • To report system bugs and recommend enhancements or developments that would improve performance and carry out user acceptance testing on the solutions.

ABOUT YOU

  • High level of attention to detail is essential
  • Flexible & analytical with strong planning, communication and organisational skills
  • Working knowledge of ATCOM Res selling system is preferable but not essential
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Experience in working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Good problem solving skills, with a proactive approach to finding solutions
  • Creative and forward thinking with commercial awareness
