Job Role:


As the Lead Football coach, it will be your responsibility to lead the activities for the children in your group.

You will also be required to organise and oversee the coaching completed by the other football coaches at your venue.


You must be up to date with a range of activities and games used at Club Excel, but also have ideas of your own.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for monitoring tuck, lunch and toilet breaks as well as contacting the first aider on-site if there are any injuries needing attention.


You will also need to fulfil any registering duties that you have, for example, signing children in and out at the beginning and end of the day.

You will be working alongside other football coaches and you will need to ensure that their duties are being fulfilled, relaying any issues you have back to the on site Camp Director.


Main duties include but are not exclusive to:

  • Leading the preparation and delivery of high-quality football sessions within the camp.
  • Ensure all children enjoy themselves and make inclusion a priority.
  • Contacting the relevant first aider on site.
  • Ensure toilet breaks, tuck breaks and lunchtimes are monitored.
  • Meet and greet children on arrival and personally ensure they have a great day.
  • Keeping the work environment healthy, safe, and secure.
  • Working within the framework of the club's policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring safe practice within sessions.
  • Dress and act accordingly with Club Excel policies.
  • Management of the other football coaches.

Qualifications and Experience:


Essential:


  • FA Level 1 coaching
  • You will be required to attend the staff induction and training day to ensure you are up to date with our policies and procedures.

Person Specification:


  • Enthusiasm for the role with a willingness to learn.
  • Previous management/leadership role.
  • Confidence and competence in learning or knowing a variety of sports activities.
  • Reliable and committed to providing a fun experience for all those who attend.

Job Types:
Part-time, Zero hours contract


Salary:
£55.00-£90.00 per day
