    Job Title: Clinical Practice Lead

    Company: Evergreen

    Evergreen is partnering with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust to provide specialized, short-term care for children and young people aged 13-17 with severe or complex mental health difficulties. As a Clinical Practice Lead, you will collaborate with a diverse multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality mental health services to support young people in overcoming life's challenges.

    We are seeking Registered Mental Health Nurses, but applicants with a background in LD/Children's nursing and relevant skills are encouraged to apply.

    Main Duties of the Job:

    • Work as part of the nursing team collaborating with families, education provision, and community teams
    • Supervise junior staff
    • Deliver safe treatment for young people

    Person Specification:

    Education/Qualification/Training

    Essential

    • Registered Nurse (Mental Health)
    • OR Registered Nurse (Learning Difficulty)
    • Mentorship certification
    • Completion of Preceptorship

    Experience

    Essential

    • Significant experience at band 5 level or above
    • Working with individuals with mental health issues/learning disabilities
    • Handling challenging and aggressive behavior
    • Collaborating in a multidisciplinary team setting
    • Providing individualized and culturally sensitive care

    Desirable

    • Supporting and supervising students and junior staff

      • Knowledge and Skills

      • Excellent communication skills
      • Ability to assess, plan, and evaluate care for complex patients
      • Minimizing clinical risks and restrictive practices
