Description

What you will be doing:

  • Liaise with Regional Finance teams to identify any areas for improvement to support and maintain the quality and efficiency of the IFRS 16 financial close and reporting across the group
  • Ensure the adoption of IFRS 16 and train Finance teams in using the IFRS 16 standard
  • Responsible for driving continuous improvement of IFRS 16 reporting processes, assisting the Finance Transformation team
  • Responsible for the effectiveness of Group IFRS 16 consolidation processes to ensure the Group's reporting outputs are accurate and timely

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
  • PQE in industry retail ideal
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS (especially 16) / UK GAAP
  • Strong communication skills will be working with Regional teams
  • Proficient in Excel
