Office based and home working (location options include Northampton, Milton Keynes, Huntingdon, Peterborough, Lincoln, Norwich, Colchester).

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Modelling Lead (Water Networks) to join the team.
You will be a core member of the Asset Intelligence Modelling Team and you'll be part of a team that is leading the fluid modelling capability for the business.
The Modelling Lead role entails deputising for the Modelling Manager, supporting and leading on aspects of project management and delivery, seeking opportunities to drive value from our team, existing models, and assets, as well as exploring and exploiting potential opportunities to drive efficiency and deliver upon our business commitments.
The role supports the transitioning between a technical role and leadership role, gaining the knowledge and skills to enable a Leadership and Management career path.
The Modelling Lead will support the development and management of a culture of collaboration and integration, building upon the existing team capability and expertise.
The role will support in maintaining and building technical and behavioural excellence and skills resilience to ensure we are right for now yet build fitness for the future.

- Substantial experience in Water Network modelling
- Chartered or working towards chartership or accreditation with a professional body
- Management qualification such as ILM 3 or equivalent inhouse training or working towards it
- Track record for delivering projects against objectives and project deliverables and can demonstrate how activities, tasks, risks, issues, and budgets have been effectively managed to achieve the required outcome/benefit
- Ability to bring together & connect a complex set of processes, stakeholders & organisational objectives (including the commercial model) & integrate these to achieve End to End project leadership & delivery
- Understanding of wider industry policies, context, frameworks, UKWIR outputs and ongoing initiatives and developments, influencing the team workload.
- Coaching and mentoring to deliver and create a high performing environment.
- Driving licence is desirable or evidence that you are working towards obtaining your licence
