We are seeking a Support Assistant to join our friendly team and help make a real difference to the lives of our clients.
Set in Berwick Hills, Bransby Court has 13 self-contained one-bedroom flats spread over three floors of the building. We provide support for adults aged 18 and over, with a range of mental health needs.
We provide a comprehensive induction programme as well as on-going training to develop new and existing skills and encourage progression.

The role of Support Assistant will include:
- Following support plans and risk assessments which have been created for each client
- Monitoring clients' mental health and reporting any concerns to the Community Mental Health Team
- Encouraging and enabling clients to clean, shop and cook
- Support clients with socialising in the community e.g. going to the cinema, swimming or the gym
- Help clients attend appointments, especially those with the mental health team
- Complete daily notes of support provided to clients
Skills and experiences:
- Excellent listening skills
- Patient and understanding of the various needs of our clients
- Ability to liaise with other professionals including; psychiatrists, community mental health nurses, social workers and housing and benefits staff
- NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards
