Business Intelligence (BI) Developer - up to £42,000, with exceptional benefits - Liverpool based/Hybrid Working


We are partnered with one of the largest employers in the region, a market leader in its sector, looking for a Business Intelligence Developer, experienced in SAP Business Objects to join their IT Services team.

The company operates on a large-scale with over 30,000 end users and has a world class reputation. Working in partnership with enterprise technology partners they utilise cutting edge technology.


You will be getting to work on one of the biggest sets of data within the area, which generates over 50,000 data reports, used daily by over 1500 end users.


Within your role of BI Developer you will be working closely with your team, working with a variety of ETL and BI tools.

You will bring with you your experience of developing SAP Business Objects reports and universes, as well as proficiency in creatingTableau visualisations.


Operating a Hybrid working model, there is a split of onsite and remote working, add in to this your 35 hour working week, they offer a genuine work life balance.

Having proven experience in SAP Business Objects would be highly desirable, however, we invite individuals who have any other proven ETL or BI tool experience.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop SQL scripts.
  • Work with SAP Business Objects to develop new reports and universes.
  • Fully contribute to the plans and the development to make the organisations data efficient and to achieve the vision of having one version of the truth trusted by all
  • Assist in the implementation of a data governance strategy.
  • Work with expert users from key business areas to help them translate complex user requirements into simple and effective dashboards, reports and data sets.
  • Ensure that all of our reporting and BI outputs conform to the newly established data governance framework.
  • Support our end user community (including some specialist reporting teams) in the use of our BI tools and in the adoption of best practice wherever appropriate.
