MYM Recruitment are excited to be working with our new Cookstown client. They now wish to recruit a highly driven
Payroll Officer to join their busy team in Cookstown. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team who have been in the business for 20 years.


Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Gather and correlate employee timesheets weekly.
  • Calculate and Input information on hours worked for each employee.
  • Calculate the correct amount of overtime hours, rates, deductions in line with TES policies and procedures
  • Receive approval from management of timesheet hours worked and expenses incurred for payment.
  • Process hours via SAGE Job costing and SAGE.
  • Generate payslips.
  • Generate bulk payment for weekly payment.
  • Payment of employee expenses.
  • Keep track of hours, holidays, rates, benefit rates, deductions and be confident in enrolling a new hire information into SAGE Payroll.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll/pension from employees.
  • Generate weekly SAGE reports for management and finance department etc.
  • Regulate Construction Subcontractor payments and CIS payments to HMRC
  • Oversee Workplace Pension for the company and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.

Essential Criteria:


  • 1 years payroll experience in a similar role.
  • SAGE experience.
  • Attention to detail.

Salary:
£25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday

reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
