    Bodmin Jail Hotel

    Cornwall.

    The Role:

    As a Housekeeping
    Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
    and hygiene throughout the hotel. Your leadership and organisational skills
    will ensure that our guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay. You will
    manage a team of housekeeping staff, oversee the maintenance of guest rooms,
    public areas, and laundry operations, and implement effective cleaning and
    maintenance procedures.



    Responsibilities
    include:

    • Ensure that all rooms, public
      areas, and back-of-house areas meet high standards of cleanliness and are
      well-maintained at all times.
    • Develop and implement housekeeping processes and procedures to maximise
      efficiency and minimize costs.
    • Create and manage housekeeping staff schedules to ensure proper coverage and
      efficient use of resources.
    • Oversee the procurement and management of cleaning supplies, equipment, and
      linens.
    • Maintain adequate inventory levels and control costs according to budget.
    • Assist in the creation and management of the housekeeping department budget.

    Working schedule:

    • Full time, 5 out of 7 days, flexibility required including weekends and holidays.
