Sheridan Maine is delighted to partner a luxury fashion retailer to recruit a qualified Group Accountant.
This is an interesting and varied role based in central London.

Responsibilities of the Group Accountant will include:

  • Responsible for pulling together the Management accounts from all related parties
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Prepare Statutory accounts for UK entities and managing preparation of overseas statutory accounts
  • Liaise with the auditors
  • Support the VAT team and overseeing the process, to ensure the external reporting timelines are met
  • Ensure corporate tax filings are completed on timely basis
  • Develop documentation and structure to ensure compliance with transfer pricing requirements
  • Ensure additional Group reporting are completed on timely basis
  • Ensure all insurance renewals are completed on time with accurate information

The successful Group Accountant will require the following skills and experience:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Good VAT knowledge
  • Strong accounting system experience (NetSuite experience preferred)
  • Good time management and attention to detail
  • Experience in financial accounting roles
