The role is based partly from home and partly in the office which is situated on the borders of Surrey and Sussex.

The role will suit an individual with experience of working within financial services, although other industries will be considered, however extensive experience of working with and in conjunction with departments such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,and broad finance teams is essential.

Divisional Finance Manager duties include:

Mentoring a team of Ledger Clerks and Reconciliation Clerks
Maintaining best practice and keeping abreast of regulations and procedures
Oversee and assist in complex bank reconciliations
Work closely with the Treasury department, investigating any issues or returned payments
Responsible for the accurate allocation of all inbound cash

To succeed in this role you must have the following:

Knowledge of financial services accounting
Team Leadership skills, confident working under pressure and with various teams at all levels
Excellent written and spoken communication
Ideally an accounting qualification, although qualified by experience will be considered
Proactive, selfsufficient and able to input new ideas for streamlining processes
