New and exiting opportunity for a Accounts Payable Officer. This role is predominately hybrid based

A reputable Education establishment based in London


Description

The key responsibilities are:

  • Process all invoices received accurately and in line with company policies
  • Monitor and action all Accounts Payable mailboxes, ensuring that all queries and issues received are actioned within agreed Time frames
  • Complete Supplier account and statement reconciliation,
  • Follow up on any discrepancies, including missing invoices and credit notes
  • Support backlog clearup
  • Support Excel upload templates preparation and maintenance
  • Maintain good customer relations, internal and external and driving excellent customer service
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and agreed processes
  • Support process changes, projects and improvements driven by Accounts Payable Manager and Team Leader
  • Undertake adhoc work for the department as required and support other departments
  • Able to work remotely effectively and perform well as part of a team

Profile

  • Knowledge of Accounts Payables principles, practices, regulations and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong time management skills
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Working to strict deadlines and adhering to a timetable
  • A good understanding of Accounting systems
  • Working in a fastpaced environment and handling high volume processing
