We are currently looking to recruit a motivated Staff Nurse to join our team based on our 15 bed Welney Ward at the Princess of Wales hospital in Ely.
The post holder will provide quality evidence-based nursing advice, support and care for service users with mental and physical health needs and to their carers within a multidisciplinary setting.
You will be responsible for supporting and leading on the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and will have a good level of knowledge of local, national policies and legislation which govern current service provision.
The post holder will be responsible for identifying and contributing to the training needs of junior registered and unregistered staff and ensure that issues of equality, diversity and rights are dealt with in accordance with good practice and legislation.

As key members of the rehabilitation team, the Registered Nurses provide a high standard or individualised, holistic and evidence-based patient focused nursing using the nursing process.
Ensure the delivery of high quality, patient focused care and treatment.As a reflective practitioner, actively promote reflective practice within the team questioning clinical practice, taking appropriate action where gaps in knowledge or experience may compromise the health and safety of others.
The post holder must adhere to the Trust risk assessment and risk management processes.NMC registration
Post graduate qualification relating to ward specialism.
Awareness of safeguarding issues and responsibilities under relevant legislation
Basic understanding of legislation relating to care including - Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Act
Positive approach to older people
Willingness to be flexible in approach and attitude
Able to demonstrate commitment to high quality care and service provision
Effective communication skills both verbally and written, including IT literacy (MS Office).
Enthusiastic and has the ability to participate in full rotational shifts
