To help do this more effectively, we're looking for an experienced Production Manager to manage and resource our tailored learning solution projects through our award-winning design studio.


What you'll be doing
An opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic Operations team at MindGym.

Resource planning manages the allocation of work across a pool of circa 60 creative roles based in the UK & US in design and content writing teams.

In addition to the workload planning of internal resources the role also covers sourcing and onboarding of Freelance resource at times of high demand.

You'll work closely with management ensuring there is a clear understanding of assignments, deadlines and adapting plans as needed.

The role will provide Client facing teams with clarity of current and forecast capacity so that expectations for new and prospective clients can be set around project lead times.

You'll contribute to pipeline planning discussions offering solutions and suggestions around resourcing new opportunities. This insight also provides justification for hiring decisions around interim and permanent resource.

You'll lead improvements to optimise resourcing process leveraging the capabilities of our project and resource management tool - 'Hive' and help to harmonize best practice across regions.

You'll champion good adoption of our resourcing tools, providing guidance and support across teams.

Most importantly you will strive to make our resourcing processes as simple as possible reducing the time that creative team managers spend in planning meetings so they can focus on delivery.

Through the resource tracking data you'll share time and cost insights with senior stakeholders to gauge project profitability and help commercial decision making.

Project management experience and proficiency, preferably in agency type environment, is essential for this role.

You'll be an important advisor to the multi-disciplined project teams, helping to establish timelines and tracking progress to ultimately ensure we deliver for MindGym's clients.

There will be line management responsibility for an associate level role who will provide support for the day-to-day workflow and resource planning.

  • Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly to then be able to support others
  • Excellent communication skills, clear, accurate and concise orally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organised and a knack for creativity and resourcefulness
  • Proven track record of managing priorities to help creative teams produce excellent client deliverables on time and to expected product parameters

Desirable
- understanding of instructional design and graphic design

  • An understanding of typically creative agency processes and creative skill sets
  • Experience in a high growth scale up
  • Exposure to working in a multigeo territory business
  • Qualified to degree level


Ideally you will have experience in a similar role from within an agency / consultancy environment, where you have been responsible for managing high value projects and workflow to tight deadlines.


Salary:
£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
