Overview
My client is a successful alternative finance provider going through a period of growth. They now require a strong Portfolio Manager to work alongside an experienced and professional team.

This is a wide-ranging role that will appeal to an individual keento develop their career and play a critical part in helping the business to realise its ambitions by delivering a compelling proposition for borrowers and funders alike.


Responsibilities

  • Day to day responsibility for the oversight of loans from drawdown through to repayment including performing and nonperforming loans.
  • Liaising with monitoring surveyors, review and analyse their reports for the authorisation of the monthly drawdowns.
  • Carrying out regular site meetings at development sites and become a point of contact for developers.
  • Manage underperforming loans and negotiate exits to deliver a successful outcome for the business.
  • Managing and processing on development and bridging finance products.
  • Providing first class customer service to all stakeholders including borrowers, valuers, solicitors, monitoring surveyors and other professionals.
  • Servicing and monitoring the existing loan book and escalate any underperforming loans to the management team.
  • Ensuring a timely completion of subsequent development loan advances.
  • Preparation of appropriate reporting.

What you will Bring

  • Previous property lending experience including bridging and development.
  • Good understanding of the development process and property market.
  • High level of attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to deal with senior executives and build relationships across and outside the business.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
  • Problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Strong organisations skills, together with a proactive attitude to work to tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility and willingness to perform other duties as required by the business.
**Salary: £45-£60k depending on experience
