Are you a Teaching Assistant or looking to begin a new career as a Teaching Assistant in the Preston/Lancashire area?

Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a number of teaching assistants to work within Primary School and specialist schools across the Preston/Lancashire area.

Ideally, you will have experience working with children in a form that can be referenced.

Prior experience working with Special Education Needs in some form, such as autism, learning difficulties or challenging behaviour, would be beneficial but it is not a requirement.

The most important thing is that you are a positive, proactive presence in the classroom who wants to make an impact on pupils' education.

The roles would involve providing support to the class teacher. You also assist other members of staff and the students.

You may be working within a group or asked to work 1-1 with students to ensure progress in their work and/or social interactions.

Axcis Education is able to offer a range of positions to cater to each person's requirements, whether it is full time or part-time, short term or long term or just day to day cover work.

Pay is typically between £11 and £12 per hour, though this is flexible depending on experience and level of responsibility.
