Description

An innovative manufacturing organisation based near Kidlington is looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Officer to join them in a pivotal role for their business.

Hybrid working.4 days a week in Kidlington. 1 day a week from home. Core hours 10am

This is a varied role that will see you working across Procurement, Supply Chain, Stock Management, Production and having involvement across the end to end process (S&OP)

This is an exciting time to join an interesting business in a pivotal position.

Salary depending on experience but in the region of £33k
- c£35k

Liaise with relevant functions to identify purchasing requirements and material specifications
Contact relevant suppliers, request quotes, raise purchase orders
Manage supplier documentation and performance where required
Work with engineering to establish a manufacturing strategy
Responsible for stock management in various locations
Work collaboratively to ensure the development of lean systems
Manage the planning function to ensure the availability of resources, materials, and products.
Collaborate to establish accurate forecasts
